My wife and I have been trying to non-rev for a weekend get-a-way in FL on AA for the past few weeks now with no luck. Everything has been full. At least over the Thurs-Sun timeframe. There aren't even a lot of non-rev'rs listed. It's 95%+ all revenue passengers. Granted, we're operating reduced schedules and a lot of RJ's right now, but people are traveling. Anyone know what TSA numbers would normally be without international travel? My guess is that the current TSA numbers aren't too far off what 2019's domestic travel would be without international travel.

One article I saw was 25% international and 75% domestic normally.

Yeah, but international travel drives some domestic travel; all of the people that travel from spoke cities to hop on a widebody and vice versa. So how much domestic travel is being affected by the lack of international flying?

No idea. I would assume some of the people who might have taken a European vacation this year will do EPCOT instead.

Similar experience I guess. You do get a lot more people in EPCOT who are just too lazy to walk and drive around in a wheelchair. Something you didn’t see in Europe. It kind of takes away from the ambiance.

Man, how can you beat spending the day eating Stroopwaffles followed by wine at a “Paris outdoor cafe”, a good german beer(or 3) at a “haufbrauhaus” style Biergarten, yelling “Kanpai ” at a Japanese izakaya all within 2 hours.....and no COVID check?
Yea, domestic will return way quicker than international. But if will all come back once folks become inured to COVID and the politics have been quelled

I get it, reduced capacity. That said, it was generally all business people inside (as I overheard their conversations). Definitely a positive indicator.

I read about the anal swabs, but this is the first I’ve heard about anal masks.
