1000 additional per day is the July goal.

I believe 400/day is being added tomorrow, 7/2.

Default 1.1M+ TSA Numbers by Independence Day

It’s easy to find the info in DeltaNet under the Network pages.

July is about 2400/day. August is planned at 3400-3500/day.

So yeah it’s a 1000/day. Ed has said it as well as it’s been in a few town halls.

Edit: For anyone who wants to see the numbers, search Scheduling Integrity on DeltaNet. There will be 3 links to spreadsheets titled Average Daily Departures. One each for June, July and August.

So I’m confused... (nothing new). If we are adding 1000 flights a day in July, I’d assume that we will have 31,000 additional flights by July 31st. Correct? Cause by my public math, if you add 1000 flights per day in a 31 day month, that is 31,000 flights.... Things are looking up!!!

Maybe I started drinking too early, but I was confused by the United article that said they were adding 25,000 flights for August.
My understanding is we're adding a 1000 more daily flights in August. Which will total roughly 3500 flights. Compared to our normal, along with our subsidiaries and regional affiliates, including Delta Connection, operates over 5,400 flights. That's about 62% below normal. Though I'm probably wrong.

If there were 2,000 flights/day on June 30th, and they add 1,000 flights/day in July, that means that on July 31st there would be 3,000 flights/day. That’s what they mean by 1,000 flights per day.

itll end when there is something more fun to them, like riots.

but I haven’t watched tv news in about 15 years. I realized back then that Fox News has really gotten excited over the 9/11 BREAKING NEWS! Banners when in reality it was hardly news. Breaking news is for plane crash, President shot, earthquake, not stupid stuff.

Back then I also listened to sports talk radio, took me a while but you realize they’re playing you. It’s all agitation. All the time. Rarely informative. Well we will tel you what is going to happen right after the next break, yeah stuff it.

it’s easier to get the news from the internet. If there was something on tv worth watching, it’s on the Internet.

The most flights we've flown a day were 5800 or so. We fly 5500 a day.

Is it possible they meant they're gonna carry a 1000 people extra a month? The news mixed something up.

Edit: or maybe every day this month will have a 1000 extra flights, it's not cumulative.

There's only about 87000 flights a day on average in the USA.

4.8 million jobs posted for June. Beat the estimate of 2.9 million. Granted we had about 38 million unemployed, but we are beating the estimates and moving in the right direction. Last month it was a little over 3 million added.

Straight from the press release:

As economies reopen and border restrictions lift, Delta will add almost 1,000 flights system-wide in July, boosting service and nonstop connectivity to popular summer destinations and major business markets.”

Somebody interpret, still seems ambiguous.
