True. But that clause isn't just for when there are furloughs. If the flow down is gone, then 35 large RJ's are gone. Even in a roaring economy.

I don't think many understand that it is a permanent scope reduction.

when the flow down company was sold the flow down ceased to exist. It is only now that we actually are seeing or caring that it does not exist. Delta should owe us some money for not getting rid of those RJs.

Do you have proof that the flow down ceased? I highly doubt ALPA just forgot to defend scope.

I'm down for that. Or it's the equivalent of about 24 220-100s worth of seats. Hopefully DALPA can offer preferential treatment to the Compass crews that are out of a job.

It didn't - the Compass LOA was updated in 2010 and mentions the fact that Trans States owned Compass.

"WHEREAS the parties desire to reach an agreement on the continuation of both flow up and flow down between Delta and Compass in light of the recent sale of Compass." LOA #9
