When I spoke with the union they are seeing a very large amount of illegal recovery rotation assignments due to double 23k.
For example. After the April bid award I had many rotations with changes in them. Now the rotations have NOOPd with 23k on them. The union told me the NOOP is considered the double 23k because the first change was done under 23k.

My original rotation was Nooped. I then put in a recovery slip and was awarded that trip. A few days later that trip was Nooped. That should fulfill the recovery obligation and be done. However on the Reserve Recovery Status page it is still showing a 6 hour window indicating I am on the recovery roster. What am I missing??? This 23k crap needs to be fixed.

Call the union scheduling committee. There is a disagreement between us and the company whether it’s a double 23k. They will look at your rotation and advise you what to do. My understanding it’s a fly now grieve later.

Call CS first...note the date/time/name of who you talked to. If you don’t like the aniseed, THEN email the info to Sched Committee.

So if the recovery trip has a deadhead, that is converted to operating the leg instead of deadheading, prior to sign in...(about to be the second time they've done this one to me)...I understand it's a double 23k that can be shot down. But if I fly and grieve, what's the pay look like?
