Oh I hope that is true......we are all here to take care of ourselves 🤔.
Intuited it right here on the forums.... and it's equal.....everybody has the chance to work till 67.....nobody gets a "windfall" since everybody has that "opportunity"
Let's see how this plays on these web boards.
Everybody is for increasing the age....it's just when that happens that is up for discussion. 1 day prior to
"me" turning 65 seems to be the unanimous choice.😉

When it was changed to 65 it was done while literally thousands of pilots were still on furlough post 9/11. Delayed meaningful recall for years.
Many of those SAME pilots are nearing upgrade now, but would be further delayed by an increase to age 67.
But tell me more about how nobody is hurt by age 67..
BS. If they want to raise the retirement age they do so for all pilots hired after today. It should neither help nor hurt anyone on the existing seniority list at any airline.

There are two places you'll see anyone talk about age 67. One was a short blurb in a RAND study years ago (then associated news articles shortly after release of the report). The other is pilot forums, more specifically, pilots wishing to tack on 2 more years to an already 5 year career extension.
