I don't personally mind the company buying crews off the flights "capt" G wants to fly. But are they really being good stewards of the shareholders' money? Why is this expense worthwhile? Can't be cheap to sit an ER Capt at home every time he flies...

Couple thoughts on the last couple pages:
1) With 12,000 green slips going out in July alone, why does anyone here at all care who is being bought off of what, or what their title is? The company is not shy about throwing money around to fix their problems so again, not sure why we should care what other people are doing.
Similarly, 2) While identifying youngest/junior Captain in every base, fleet, layover hotel, van ride etc might be an amusing side show, (or endowment contest to others), is trolling company databases to identify folks based on personal attributes they can’t control i.e, AGE not harassment?
It seems like folks are putting way too much focus on what other people are doing with their lives.
