So if I understand you correctly, block hours this summer were 3% above the original capacity plan (which was both an increase in gauge and block hours.) When was this increase decided and when did it take effect?

Hey now. I love that thing for landings now.

I mean I did it my way, 88 way, for a while. Sometimes awesome sometimes not.

Then went book way.

20 feet. Pull idle, quickly enough before it adds power.

Kick out rudder

Pull back with your fingers til you feel a some resistance, hold that.

It's rewarding.

And mindless

Yeah well the only problem is that DAL would only buy 10 of them. We already have that many 350s. For long haul flying, the yoke sucks.

I never cared for it. I know a lot of guys like it. I just don't feel it is as accurate as the yoke. jmho

Maybe when you go sit on Ed’s lap and tell him what you want for Christmas you can tell him 787s?

Not sure the exact timing. Fr what I understand it was shortly before the Summer season and it received Flight Ops approval. Now as part of the lessons learned the CEO must approve any block hour increases more than half a percent above planned. This is 2nd hand info from those that attended Flt Ops base meetings

What exactly is wrong with you? Why does your career at Delta suck so bad? Perhaps you should reevaluate whatever your long term plan is and find something you like.

Perhaps you should consider your position on carrying management’s water.

I sure am glad that my thoughts on where this airline was going and what the future was going to hold turned out to be vastly more accurate than the doom and gloomer’s and Delta haters. I am pretty sure you feel the same way!
