I *think* this is where bypasses get a little weird. 6 ATL330A bid out - 3 of these got training bypass, but they’re still considered out for the purpose of the AE.
That left the door open for 6 to be awarded (actually 8 if you consider the 2 bypasses).
This is why bypasses have a snowball effect on others that will get paid more, but it is saving the resource of training time for the company which is (in their calculations) far more expensive.
