Time and a half above ALV + 7.5 C2019
I would like to see 1.5 credit for time above the ALV + 7.5 in C2019. The GS pay definitely honors only the most senior in most categories and causes a lot of upset to make sign in when being on the short leash; speeding tickets, car wrecks and an overall rushed pre-departure. The time and a half would be more equitable across the board and pilots would know there schedule in advance, streamline scheduling and make everything smoother. Of course the GS would still be around, but most likely greatly reduced as the amount of open time would be reduced. Holiday pay would also be a nice addition. What is the consensus on this? Any reason why this would not be a good additive to C2019?

GS Pay doesn't honor only the most senior. Everyone junior has to get a chance at a GS before the most senior gets their next GS.

Holiday
I like the Holiday Pay idea. Would give those who are forced into it a little something and would give people who wanted the extra pay a bonus while letting those junior who really wanted it off a chance at it. Win-win!

This is deceiving. If GS are only going out on weekends in your category, then pilots with weekends off are getting #2 & 3 before the junior pilot working weekends has a chance at #1.

If you are speeding on the way to a GS, your decision making needs to be addressed. They know you might not make the posted time. It’s no different than a SC. As to GS going senior, how senior do you think WS will go when they are paying 150%?
I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with your position, just adding some counterpoints.
