Default ALPA Contract Comparison

The MEC sent out a contract comparison. Looking through it I tend to believe Delta has an overall better contract than United and American.

What is lacking is our training pay, deadhead language, vacation days/value. I want American’s training pay rules, United’s domestic deadhead rules, and the cargo guys vacation accrual/value.

What I can’t tell is how Delta compares to them for medical, vision and dental coverage. Can any of you enlighten us on who has better coverage?

Interesting...

This needs to be available to EVERY union pilot. Not just Delta pilots.

A contract comparison should be created yearly, based on when groups get their next pay raises.. or whenever a pilot group gets a new Contract, as in the case that just happened at Jetblue.

Should be produced by ALPA National, not from any individual group.. and disseminated to the masses.
Hard to 'hold the line' when you don't know where the line is based on other pilot groups.

Will have to reach out to some of my Delta buds to get it.. and I will.. but it should be sent to EVERY ALPA Pilot, not just Delta's.

Motch

PS) Seems APA just got some sort of adjustment to their contract with regards to daily rigs. (5:15 a day now?).. But when it was posted in our internal message board, I notice that the APA document mentioned that UAL gets 5:10 a day. NOT!
