Agreed. It's really not worth the effort to discuss it as a stand alone item. It's in the context of the "whole" that makes it interesting.

I do think the relationship between the MEC and management has cooled considerably. Time will tell if that's good or bad. But I do like an MEC that is willing to stick up for itself when the contract is violated and not sweep it under the rug with a quick LOA, MOU or a grievance settlement that nobody knows about until it's presented as a done deal...

Spot on. This about the interpretation of the concurrence language which management would like to weaken.

So who’s gonna call CR and see when the projected conversion list will be out?

Somebody on FB talked to CR and was told that it’s finished and should be out today or Monday.

No, we're just not complaining for performing our end of the bargain when things aren't rosy. I'm RES in a category with Aug SILs and I've flow more in the 1st 17 days of this month than the last 2 months combined, and I've still got 6 days of RES left. Certainly some of the extra work was WX related, but there was definitely an increase in open time for the month before any WX ever arrived.

Could you quantify that please. Trying to figure out how that stacks up to a regular line. For all I know you might have flown 1 three day trip this month and your statement could still be true.
Then again, it could be 75 hrs already.

PS....no fudging😉

Not exactly sure what you're asking but I'll try my best. Last 2 months I flew 2 trips each month, this month I've flown 4 already and I have 2 more 3 day RES blocks remaining. I'm not up to a regular line yet, but if they fly me the last 6 days (they can legally do so) I'll be at 89:15 (ish) hours for the month. The vast majority of our trips are ADG, the missing 5:15 from the math was due to 30/168 assigned rest. I'm not the high time RES flyer in my category either, there's another guy who is already over 70 hours for the month, I don't know how many days he has left, it can't be too many. From Jan-Jul most junior RES guys were getting between 25-35 hours/month and lots of senior guys were ending the month without turning a wheel.

edit: and just to be clear, I'm not complaining that I have to work my fair share for my pay but pretending that RES weren't affecting by people taking SILs as suggested by herkflyr is flat out wrong.
