Count yourself lucky.....320A to 330B is a decent move. Lots of pilots senior to you moved way farther back (NBC FURL) at one point. Welcome to the majors and their cyclical corrections. 😁

Well gang, mandatory displaced off 320A in NYC. Had a blast doing the job though. Felt blessed to have had the opportunity. On to 330B, hopefully it will be just as good. Not too happy about the hourly wage loss, but hoping to have a good time anyway. Do have a question though, looking at crew resources AE debrief, they elected not to fill the previously advertised 320A captain spots in NYC. Wouldn't these quite possibly have prevented nearly all of us that were displaced from having to change jets and retain our spots? Just a question, first time moving backwards... well sort of. Cheers!

[QUOTE=FL370esq;2639609]Yup.....the MD/VD churn meant that they didn't have the ability to train 10 more. Remember, in a posted AE/MD, the Company can always elect to award/displace less than posted (never more) and they seemed to do so with the NYC A320 A category.
It had nothing to do with training churn. In the entire bid the only unfilled spots were the 10 A320 A in NYC and 24 350 A slots. Both were due to last minute changes by network. It would have reduced training to not displace those pilots in NYC.

No more memory stick. I read recently, they will start using LMS soon.
