While I think evoking Treason is unwarranted, you'd be hard pressed to make a cogent argument that the current president has, in the past 17 months, let alone 36 hours, exhibited behavior that embodies a faithful execution of his office. That link to a statement from the prior president I think actually demonstrates how dissimilar their words were in relation to this particular issue, not sure if that's where you were going with it.

If you believe in the system that has lasted nearly 250 years and resulted in arguably the greatest society in history, then maybe there is a reason for Trump that you just don't see. Maybe it's not Russia, racism or bigotry, or even superficial interest in a reality t.v. star. Maybe it's just some major holes in the democrat's platform that many aren't comfortable with. And the only guy with the balls to call it out to an echo chambered, intolerant left - happens to be a P.T. Barnum type that does not give a sh!t. Maybe if the left listened more and chastised less - nobody would need Trump.

He attacks Germany for buying gas from Russia, he blows up stuff in Syria that makes "Vlad" lash out, he blasts selling our uranium to Russia, he signs off on increased sanctions and demands NATO get its act together. Doesn't sound like a little ***** to me.
