After years of early Christmas I finnaly got Christmas off a few years ago. The kids were actually disappointed that they had to wait till 'real' Christmas like everyone else did to open gifts.

Christmas has special meaning for me.

It's that time of year that I can hold trips that I could never get during the rest of the year.

Conversely, one way to get Christmas off is to get the best international trip you can, PRG and VCE come to mind but everyone has their own preferences, and give it away. For a few years I had another pilot who would ask me to get the best trip I could get over Christmas and he would take it. (I knew I’d be unstacked so it was better to just ask for the trip.) He was senior and could have gotten it himself but used the trip to go somewhere else he liked and go over the cap. Plus, he was was doing me a favor. Or, if you don’t know someone just put it on the swapboard and someone might take it.

A guy on probation got a 96 hour Palau last year BUT it was over a Christmas. No one would touch it sitting in OT for a few days prior.

I thought I'd look it up for those trying to get a gauge on A220. I'm in the low 9000 range

Nyc eh220 A shows 132 senior to me and slc 174.

That's first, second and third pref combined but how do you know if their first isn't 330A, 7ERA, C10?

I think I'm at the top 5 of both B lists.

Yeah it's going much more senior than I thought it would. I'm in the high 7,000's and have 34 guys ahead of me with it as their first choice.
