Don't know, didn't say there would be 110 of them leaving, but there's always trickle down effects that open doors for some people.

I posted word for word what crew resources put out in a written update last winter.

There are 71 vacancies in ATL with 235 displacements. 164 are leaving ATL unless they carry overages in categories without vacancies.

So much for “smaller, more frequent AE’s.” It’s getting more difficult to believe what they publish lately — other than the actual AE’s.

Is the entire MD88 group gone/how much is left?

Yup.....no doubt. Who knows what 1Q2019 will offer. You better grab one of those A320 slots while they are there. 🙂

It was interesting to note that CR said "[i]n addition, any unfilled AE or backfill positions will not be awarded to new hires before current pilots have had an opportunity to bid on them."

This will still leave around 1300 88/90 CA and FOs. Remember there is a large MD90 fleet that isn't going anywhere for a good while.

Reading between the lines, look for 777, 765, 330, and 7ER backfills on the A side for retirements.

While not as crazy as the MOAB last year, this could be some very positive movement even in ATL.

If we connect the dots, does that mean no hiring until 1Q 2019?
