"Fix it" email
Hey all,
I received an email from the Pilot Selection Team today asking to make a few corrections. The email came from the delta@airlineapps address so that's who I responded to that I had corrected what was asked.
Could anyone else share their experiences with these notifications? Did you get an invite to interview shortly after the corrections were made or more crickets?
I probably won't sleep for a few nights now...😬
Thanks in advance!

Got the fix it email two weeks after a job fair in September of 15, fixed it, emailed them back, kept updating it, and then radio silence until April of 16, app got pulled again (without an internal rec) and an offer to interview. The good news is your app scored high enough for an interview, the bad news is it was incomplete. Just play the waiting game, they’ll find you again.

Okay great, thanks for the replies! They were super small errors. Even had several pair of eyes on the app that didn’t catch them. Kicking myself....but I’ve waited this long so a little longer shouldn’t kill me.

There are people who receive the fix it email, make the changes, and get an interview within months and there are people who haven't heard another word in years since making the changes. My theory on the fix it email is that its importance depends on what triggered your app to be reviewed in the first place. If you had a DL pilot send an email to recruiting or you attended a job fair then your app was obligatorily reviewed and the fix it email does not necessarily mean that you are competitive. On the other hand, if you receive the fix it email totally out of the blue, that most likely means that you scored high enough to get pulled from "the pile" and it's safe to assume that your app is competitive and will get pulled again in short order. With the errors fixed this will probably result in an interview the next time it gets reviewed.

I see. I did have a pilot send in a recommendation for me about a month ago, so it was definitely not out of the blue. Fixed it and will probably have a service review and have it sent in again if there’s no word back.
