If the trip is ugly, it might be hard to convince a brother or sister to take your garbage.
I never underestimate the greed of a Delta pilot. Some vulture out there will WS it.

You'd be surprised. I got "awarded" an UGLY two-day last year over New Years eve/day. I threw the hail Mary and posted it to the swap board as soon as I could. Someone snagged it on the first PCS run after I posted it.

The big difference between that SW and DL schedule with 16-18 days off is that the SW schedule will likely credit 75ish hours for pay while DL's would be closer to 65 hours of credit.

Awarded line value or after modification and premium pay? The poster above was referencing awarded credit & days off.

EVERY day of work at DL credits at least 5:15. So 16 days off will be a minimum of 73.5 hours. We also have more variety in show and release times rather than AM and PM only trips.

That 96 hour credit, 12 work day month was definitely not the original award.

To the OP: There will be guys that like to post these kinds of outliers and come across like it's a common thing. It's not. The average is likely much closer to my original reply. Buyer beware.

That’s nowhere near my experience, nor what I see in the wide reports on fleets/bases I’ve been on/in

Mine either, the minimum a line can be built to under the very worst case is 65 and a 5:15 minimum per day.
