What I don't understand is where is the lift coming (or just leaving) from the 30 CR7's that ExpressJet is removing from the network. Those touch LGA and ATL mostly. That's a lot of life to lose.

Only 3 700s are going to 9E. The rest are owned by OO/EV.

Correct. The post 7on was quoting was referencing 700's. OO/EV own the remaining 30 CR7's coming off contract with DL. They will re-deploy these with UA/AA.

It will mostly be covered by the A321 & 737-900 frames we keep taking delivery of. Also, the C series should be on the property by Spring of next year.

Some of the current RJ routes will be upgauged to a 717, some of the 717 routes upgauged to A320 etc.

I'd just like to point out that the guy that runs the world's biggest aircraft leasing company also sits on the Board of Directors at SkyWest...

Someone will find 30 70-seat aircraft and fill that scope, unless you guys close tighten that scope.

So I guess we will see if the leases are renewed.
The leases will be renewed, and then sub-leased to Delta again. Even if those gates were not going to be used, Delta would still find a way to keep them.

I have a close friend on the Wayne county airport commission, and Delta wanted to bulldoze part of the C concourse to park spare aircraft, however, the commission said no, the airport would lease them to other airlines. So, Delta decided to still pay on those gates, and boarded up the terminal.
