Good article. That CSeries is going to be very popular at Delta once it gets online... Versatile, comfortable and profitable.

On the mock up at BBD, there was one jumpseat with a lot of room, also there was a rollerbag closet right next to the jump seat behind the FO.

I'm sure DL will figure out a way to put a lav in there.

"No operational advantage." IOW, the bean-counters don't know how to quantify improved safety via increased situational awareness.

Yes, I know, the C will reinvent the industry and have 50 hour legs and do 100 hour day turns to Alpha Centauri and they'll only work 1 day a month etc.
It's speculation on my part, but long range domestic point to point flying is basically scoped flying that RJ's aren't really allowed to do. The Cseries, having no such scope restrictions, can open up a bunch of new markets on thin routes, that RJ's aren't allowed to fly. Maybe for the first few years the Cseries is like every other aircraft, but I think marketing will figure out it is a market growth airplane, not a replacement jet.

I don't know much about Delta scope, but what is in there about RJs flying point to point?
