Great point! Airbus is very Dunkin' Donuts unfriendly to any size above small. However, I suspect that these cockpits designed in Mirabel will be quite compatible with the Tim Horton's large/grand and probably even the Xtra-Large/Xtra-grand. And no QWERTY means no worries about getting maple glaze from the donut(s) between the keyboard keys. 😁

SVS is built into the system by RC. The Fusion SVS turns any scene into day visual, but I doubt the airlines will pat to turn it on, no operational advantage.

FedEx has something like FLIR in some of their jets, the 767s I think, and the 777s. Like daylight through the HUD.

While synthetic vision through the HUD would be awesome, this is the view through the SWISS CS100 HUD over the Alps:

Not if the computer lets you keep 1g on the rotation. Otherwise they better fly to my side. 😁

Looks like a cup holder a foot back from the sidestick if I can see it correctly:

Bombardier CS100 - Large Preview - AirTeamImages.com

And the above picture and the picture below seem to confirm the airplane has decent shades for the big cockpit windows:

The Global had either FLIR or SVS (monochromatic) in the HUD. The SVS in the HUD was sort of useful but the FLIR was great in the right atmospherics. At 3am going into DEL, all the lighting and the runway in sight at 8 mikes while the RVR WAS at 500m in smoke. If it were wet snow, not much difference than without the FLIR due to moisture content.
