Why most certainly not. The contract is a perfect example of their obedience.

You must follow the “dropped hamburger” rule: contaminated items can be served, but only to a customer who didn’t see the fumble.

With that thirsty old Boeing, there certainly wasn't any evidence left. Like my dog says, anything from the knees down is a fair ball.

At NWA, we caught the mechanics filling up their personal diesel trucks with de-fueled Jet A.

When you break rules on fuel people die. Jet fuel has very specific process required. If the fueler was willing to use a regular truck to de fuel and then fuel another aircraft you have to wonder what else he was doing or not doing!

I had friends who died because the fueler didn’t think he needed to sump the fuel farms and trucks as often as the FAA required.

What they do to 727's in the Third World is unspeakable, yet they fly on. My point being, when DAL gets close to the bone, they won't be so picky. I.E. DC-10 flown with out autopilot at 390. No radar dispatch. He!!, the DC-7 was operated unpressurized. No turbo's, ram air only on the 880's. If you think that kind of stuff is gone forever, well........
