Fixed it, yuck.

Embraer had the same problem and subsequently fixed it with later models. Maybe Bombardier started with a conservative MLW until enough cycles were tested in the real world.

You taking a delay for a defuel? Dispatch is supposed to account for the pax load in the plan, why are we always trying to do everyone else’s job. More fuel not less is what I am asking for.

Don't reduce fuel if it doesn't make sense. Sometimes it's the right call though.

Most recent example was this summer. Rolling delays with a 2 hour alternate on the flight plan. By the time we launched, the storms were long gone and the alternate wasn't needed.
