But he still couldn’t get hired at Delta as a pilot without one.

Every plane is an RJ unless it’s international widebody or LA to New York or something ..

They broke ground on the final assembly line in Mobile AL today at the Airbus facility. Another step closer to getting the 300’s!

I think you meant without a Harvard degree..... because he spent all his time in the Harvard computer labs writing code. Doubt Harvard would have admitted him (son of a UW librarian) without a HS diploma.

Not even sure what you are talking about. For decades the industry operated without Regionals so is it really bringing regional flying in house or returning mainline flying to mainline?

Its also a little more complicated than a bumper sticker logo. While there are many LGA-BOS trips there are also plenty of LGA-DFW trips. The short trips are a great way to introduce a new aircraft, getting crews quickly qualified. As more air-frames come on property plenty of new longer routes will start.

Soon we will start getting the 300s and see a lot more of the longer stuff. Expect to see SEA and PDX to LAX to DFW to LGA. The smile route.

Your point would have been much more valid with the 717 in about 2013 but it does not hold up with the the 220 in 2019.

It’s not a complaint. I think it should never have been farmed out. It it was the only way to get B scale. I was just commenting on the complaint about what is purely typical regional flying. Delta is leading the charge to end the regional model. Bravo.
