Rsw-Anc? That might be a bit out of range.

Default Hypocritical??

So Ed B. doesn't like ME3 being subsidized with government $$ moving in on "his turf"... but he doesn't mind Bombardier being subsidized with government $$ so he can pick up aircraft below cost... wonder if the next new house he builds will be all glass with a stone front yard.. that would come in handy for him.

I think the Bombardier deal was more of a bailout than a recipient of a continuous cash infusion like the ME3 get. That doesn't make the manufacturer "subsidized."

I was told Delta's main concern in this department isn't delays the airframe's construction as that's being proven everyday for other carriers. Instead, they say if there are any delays it will be most likely because of issues with cabin installation since Bombardier has never done one for us before.

From that article...

"There comes a point in time when you've got to finish [what you started]," Mr. Daoust said in an interview. "The most important thing was that we end up with a deal that was not a subsidy transaction but a commercial transaction."

they can call it whatever they want... without the $1 billion from Quebec there prob is no c series and if there is.. the price tag wouldn't be marked down from $33 mill to $19 cause Bombardier and Quebec are just being neighborly.

Baloney. The C series pays better than the 717. The 717 already goes more senior than the MadDog. Yet the Mad Dog pay better than both the C and 717. Superior cockpit ergonomics, route flexibility leads to better schedules. I hope it goes junior so I can hold a better schedule, but I bet it will go senior.

Pot meet kettle. Boeing is the last company that should be crying about subsidies.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2015/03/17/the-united-states-of-subsidies-the-biggest-corporate-winners-in-each-state/

They will lose this battle, and in the event that they win this battle I am sure that just helps to propel Delta's future orders with Airbus.

As for us delaying or slowing delieveries that is covered in this article:
