Just got done with CQ on 717. C Series instructor popped his head into the debrief room to say hi to our instructor. He said they are looking at 2 possible dates for delivery. August 1st delivery or Nov 1. He said the powers that be asked them how many students they could get through. They’re gonna try and nab instructors away from 88 and 717, he was trying to convince our DGS instructor. I’m thinking a bid in April. LAX and NYC still for initial bid.

Soooooo.

1) Boeing files lawsuit to stop the sale of Bombardier jets citing 'dumping'.
2) Airbus takes a stake in Bombardier.
3) Joint venture says they will build the airplanes in USA.
4) Boeing refuses to drop lawsuit.
5) Ruling goes against Boeing
6) Airbus now says jets will potentially remain in Canada keeping those jobs out of Alabama.
7) Therefore: Boeing is anti American worker.

.

Crew Resources says they need 5 months to train initial C Series pilot group.

Current delivery estimate is either AUG 18 or NOV 18.

If it ends up being AUG, C-Series NYC/LAX will be on the next AE in 7 weeks.

Haha....do you know the difference between the Embraer 175 STD, LR and AR? A different wing bolt, tires and a big check.

That’s exactly what manufactures do.

Interesting statement by BBD at the Singapore Air Show yesterday - they don't know if Delta deliveries will come from YUL or MOB...quite a delivery date difference in that statement...

Reminds me of the old cartoon. He came in the revolving door behind me. But somehow he came ahead of me!

So, who let training planning be in charge of the CS100?
