The LLCP for this jet is in the ATL lounge today. I had a brief one-on-one talk with him while he was setting up and he said the decision regarding the HUD is due today. He went on to say, "it's dual HUD or none at all." His boss made a good safety/business case for it but he still couldn't predict the decision going either way.
The only other big takeaways for me was the company has extremely high hopes based on initial performance numbers mainly because it sips fuel, something like 1800lbs a side in the high 30s. It will specialize in the long thin routes, "think 1500-2000 mile routes" he told me.
Just food for thought.

Regarding fuel efficiency, I have read that both SWISS and Air Baltic are very happy with initial performance on the 100 and 300. Fuel efficiency, range flexibility and cabin comfort for premium business travelers are likely the big areas of interest for Delta.
Here's another good overview of the SWISS CS100 with some new views of the comfortable cabin and flight deck. This airplane will definitely be appreciated by business travelers:

I hope Delta eventually uses it on both shuttle and longer, thinner routes the way it was meant to be used........

Glen Hauenstein said a lot of flying on it would be in NY. That does not necessarily mean that the first pilot base will be there. (For example, we fly 18X each day to AMS but have no pilot base there)
A little mouse in Crew Resources squeaked earlier this week that LAX was still the front-runner. But, as always, nothing is for sure til it's in print.

It's not a good thing for us because Delta is working towards being a domestic airline, with a few token international flights.
Same business strategy as Alaska really...

That's exactly what I'm saying....I'm just evaluating the contract language. My point was the 650,000 doesn't mean much.

Does Steve Dickinson have to come all the way from his 4th floor office to sign for something like that at the truck?
