You mean he's entitled to jump seat privileges as part of his compensation package? Yes indeed. Also allowed to declare an aircraft preference on an anonymous board to anonymous readers.

Given that I think he’s with Atlas, that would make him a revenue paying customer since the company is paying to and from. Since he’s a paying customer, I’d say he’s “entitled” to his attitude.

As a regional airline survivor, 135 charter/ corporate and dregs of GA veteran, I prefer to avoid the CL series and small EMB RJs on routes that feel like they should be mainline. Although the Canadair 700 and 900 are pretty decent jets it seems. Not too good for them here - but they offer several traits that are inferior to a “ real” jet. I’d much rather pilot a traditional RJ than ride on one!

I STRONGLY prefer DAL for my domestic flights, but sometimes I can't fly DAL, or don't want to, because of the schedule, etc. I also JS once in a while. I STRONGLY prefer to JS on DAL. U guys have treated me great!

I am at Atlas, and since we are charter, with our trips starting and ending all over the place, they buy us tickets. And, we usually can get the specific flight/airline we want, especially on domestic tickets. On this last trip, I was technically based in ORD, but my trip ended with a ferry flight from BWI-IAH. IAH is our passenger "hub".

It is clear by his username and how he defended the RJ in his previous post that he is in love with RJs. I am with you, I do not like deadheading or jumping on a 50 sweater, let alone being a paying pax on one. You might not want to say anything negative about MSP either, since that is the first part of his username. He probably loves MSP then RJ’s.
Namaste 🙏🏻 my friend.

The 320 is "more comfortable" than the 737. That should mean Southwest and Ryan are out of business by now and Spirit and Easy rule the world, right?
Except that almost no one cares, and most of the few that do care can't or won't switch because of it.
I'd bet that even among high frequency triple unobtanium trillion milers, very few actually call their travel department and insist on changes because of aircraft, especially if you exclude the occasional Tupolev/turboprop etc. even when that exists in conjunction with modern alternatives.
No one is going to order a different fleet because the 0.01 demands an equipment change some of the time maybe. That's just fake marketing and for all intents and purposes, it isn't even a thing.

1 out of 10,000? You must not have many friends in corporate America. Several frequent business travelers I know absolutely sharp shoot their travel plans to fly aircraft types they like and avoid those they don't. Most of them know way more about the aircraft cabin, fleet age, seats or sections to avoid, etc. than I'll ever know.
