I think BA is actually down to once daily now, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the service cancelled completely. Again, need several flights a day to make it appealing to business travelers. I realize it would take more than a snap of the fingers to get approval to amend the perimeter rule, but throwing wads of cash at lawmakers is a tried and true method. I can't see Delta ever pursuing it anyways, not from BA's home turf. Mr. Puddy loves singing the praises of the CS, but I'm afraid its most impressive capabilities are not going to be utilized much.

Interesting. I firmly believe your pilot group will love it once they see it up close and see the types of missions it can support.

The pax won't pay more for a ticket because the windows are bigger.
The company assuredly won't be creating a subfleet of 40-seat uber-premium jets that fly from the US to the UK.
The company will likely not be deploying them from BOI-SAT or some similar "long, thin" route.
Hey, I am glad that the company is buying these. I think that they will be very positively received, and I appreciate the "clean sheet" design of it, versus just stretching and warping some increasingly-old design. However, just because the CS is "better" doesn't mean that it will work in the marketplace--though I hope it does.

Who knows if your route planners will even consider London City? It's nice to know that it is at least an option... That was my point.

I dont doubt that the plane is cool but most pilots care more about money and QOL than how cool the airplane is. I can't think of many people that would bid to a lower paying category.
We still don't know what the mission will be. If it involves a bunch of red eyes from the west coast it will be a new hire aircraft for sure.
