It doesn't matter what the cs300 costs per se if its part of a good package deal.

Actually, Airbus didn’t buy anything, it was given to them.

Let's hope for an Airbus order - with additional commitments for CSeries airframes!

Their cashcow is the 737. They're scared that the C series could eventually take a bug market share away from them.

I forget...has the 787 made a profit yet?

And is that order paid in petro dollar cash....or exim bank subsidized funds?

Either way....go look in the mirror. Cuz you are working to fund the buyer...who then will use the equipment to cut your throat.

Hopefully just speaking figuratively

The 787 just crossed the finish line in turning a profit.

There is a difference between incentives and direct subsidies.

Airbus sucks

Objection, irrelevant.

ME3 are paying to play. Plain and simple. They know BA is the biggest US exporter and that its one of the top priorities for the current admin, and one that can show results (in the short to medium term) with or without help from the legislature. That force magnifies their clout many times over. Eve if the end result is an almost complete devastation of the entire airline industry in line with the shipping debacle, the interests of BA outweigh those of the nation as a whole and they will continue to dominate unless checked via other means like courts or through trade agreements indirectly (ME3 violations etc).

ME3 are attempting to buy our entire industry from us tomorrow for pennies on the dollar today.
