I don't think having C series pilots on standby to train would be that expensive for the first year.
They can't have a one year bid in Nov. They can't train and send you back to your original equipment. I also omitted that not only can a pilot with a canceled AE take any position he could have held in that AE but he can take any unconverted position from prior AE's. As I said if they post a Cseries bid in Nov they are serious.

Korean's first delivery was scheduled for September - they hope to now get one "before the end of the year" (4 were scheduled for 2017). Pratt is the delay cause. Even if all the tariff problems were to go away, I think initial bidders will sit a while longer since Pratt won't be well by March...

And therefore we’re back to the question: Will there be a Nov AE???

I was thinking Jan. or Feb. for the 365 conversion window. That would give them a lot of flexibility. cancel and reschedule training and absorb a few months of pay protection prior to the spring of 2019. That would be relatively cheap.

They already did a bid in May with a 365 window. They get one per year, I believe.

22.D.11 says once per calendar year but the bid also has to contain a displacement.

They can, the PWA is the roadmap for how. Strateegery is the word, I believe.

Simple solution....cr will only post c series positions on the bid.

Canx no cost.

And a day later post another bid wth any other non c series positions
