It looked to me like you could fit a few rollerboards behind the FO seat. Not as roomy as an Airbus flight deck, but very nice overall and a big step up from the 737. Loved the big windows.
Yeah, only one jumpseat, and that one you see actually slides out in front of the door. The jumpseater then has space to put their things. And as always, not being able to control the temperature in the aircraft comes standard with every Bombardier plane.

Is it just me or does the cockpit sound exceptionally quiet? Not only is it roomy, but it very quiet. Check out the view of this FO landing the airplane and let me know if you agree about the low noise levels:

How could Air Canada potentially use their incoming CS300s?

Pretty sure the mic is an audio input to catch the crews conversation, and the ambient noise is what it's picking up in the background. Not really accurate to judge the noise that way, especially on landing when even the 73 is quiet. Not saying it's not a quiet cockpit but not gonna judge it either way from that video. Plus the fo is wearing a Bose but if it's got a usuable hot mic no complaints here...

Default CSeries Cockpit Detail - ProLine Fusion

Yet another good video showing the CS300 cockpit in very good detail with an inflight tour from an Air Baltic CS300 Captain on a flight from Riga to Paris CDG:

Compare this to the "innovative" cockpit you find in the 1980s designed A321 NEO cockpit:

I agree the C has a nice flight deck and ergos, etc.

But we all have to admit that this matters literally zero percent in a company's decision making process to buy the plane.

There's a reason every airline in the world isn't flying dual HUD equipped all glass 757's. Economics rule the day and no one but us cares about sexy flight decks or impressive rates of climb.

I agree that cockpit automation and ergonomics have zero impact on buying decisions. I wasn't posting this video for management's benefit... Anyone flying the MD88/90 will salivate at the simplicity of this cockpit. Notice no traditional FMS - just point your cursor and click. Everything is designed to be easy to reach and upgradable as technology improves over time. I have several friends flying this ProLine Fusion cockpit on the latest Global 6000 bizjet and they love it.

That said, it helps that the CS100 and CS300 are the most fuel efficient and versaltile airplanes in their individual classes. I am betting the CSeries will be a winner for pax, pilots, route planners and bean counters...

Only 1 of those 4 really matters. Unless the C-Series can provide a compelling argument that it is incrementally better for a set of passengers over competing offerings to justify buying a fleet, it just won't matter.

The passenger is the only thing that matters. The pilots, route planners and bean counters, etc. support the passenger.

If that were really true, there would be no misbegotten 50 seaters.

I like it as a product too, at least on paper so far. But if it doesn't get (a lot) more orders, we could be sitting on a fleet of really advanced hyper electronic Fokker/DoJets in no time.
