DL to order almost 150 additional NBs?

A pax perspective on the 737 vs. small airbus:
I am at Atlas, and we commercial a LOT. Most of us have status on one or more airlines. I've been very close to Platinum status on DAL every year, but can't make it, because DAL doesn't provide enough seats, or fly to enough destinations (Yesterday, I wanted to fly DAL biz class SFO-JFK/LGA. DAL was sold out, so I had to fly on AA. It was their newer A-321 in 4 class configuration, and was quite nice).
EVERY Atlas pilot I've talked to hates flying on the 737. The aisle is narrower than the airbus. The seats seem narrower. The windows are smaller. The window seats have less room, because the fuselage intrudes more there than the Airbus. Usually, the bins are smaller.
The planes with the GTF (and probably the LEAP engine) will be quieter than the ones without, and the 737 cannot use the GTF engines as they are too big to fit.
Everyone I've talked to likes the E-170/195 family. I know that DAL says that airframe is the most popular narrow body at DAL. I'm sure the "C" will be the best narrow body, by far.
The ONLY planes I like less than the 737 are the CRJ series and the ERJ 50 seater and smaller.

NYC according to the company. The CS500 is a myth at this point. Bombardier currently has no plans to produce it. If they are going to build it they would certainly put it out there for the August RFP. If they don't I suspect it stays a myth. It would be a pig like the 757-300, A321 and 737-900.

Spirit has a NEO graveyard in DFW. 3/5 NEO sitting around waiting for engine replacements after a very short time in service. Hence, Miami Air flying some of their flights, the swap to CEO 320's and the purchase of 2 Volaris 319's to cover some of the flying.

IMHO, the C-Series will be the preferred fleet for narrowbody pilots for the many reasons discussed. I'd say this is a decent step up from the MD88 cockpit:

Obviously Bombardier has to sell more CS100s and 300s to justify the CS500 - but once it enters service with Korean (soon), Delta and Air Canada I believe you will see a lot more interest.
Given the enhanced cabin ergonomics, I imagine the intense business-traveler NYC market will be a natural C-Series market. Out of the NY area, flights from JFK/LGA to PHX/SLC/BUR/SNA/ONT/SAC/TUS/BOI would be bread-and-butter flying.
One thing is for certain, the C-Series will have some good ramp presence:

I like the high-profile nature of the airplane:
