So let me get this straight, you're a new hire at UAL and you have a problem with the mandate? Why exactly? Despite your hesitation and outcry about the shot, apparently you wanted to work at UAL bad enough to get it yourself. You post about nuclear war and seem to fear working at UAL going forward. Are you sure you will make it here?

There were some elusions to what a trigger would be in the initial emails/videos, but I was already vaccinated by that point and didn’t really make a mental note of it.

Personally, I think it’s around for a lot longer. Kirby believes in the vaccine, and the law allows him to force it. Logistically, we’re still seeing variant surges. Eventually, we’ll accept the virus as endemic, and treat these waves more like we do the flu. But that hasn’t happened yet, which opens us up to the logistical concerns of how other countries may respond diplomatically to the next surge. I think the endemic shift will have to happen globally before UAL will be willing to reconsider the logistical justification; which is still a long way off. The human factor of management having dug themselves in on this will probably have some impact on their reluctance to change policy. I think we’re talking years, not months.
Having said all that, I don’t think federal mask mandates will get re-upped this time around, and Americans have short attention spans. Russia & the US economy are giving us fresh reasons to hate each other; Trump & COVID are starting to feel a touch “old hat”. Maybe once the masks disappear, we stop caring about vaccinations, too, & the company does an about face. Less likely, in my opinion, but possible.

I was asking for several friend(s) who are in Aviate who are not vaccinated. Forum moderators, I guess personal attacks are allowed if they fit the narrative???
