What part of Texas were you in?

I live in Texas. Most, but not all, businesses still have the mask signs up but I haven't seen a single business enforcing it on customers. Employees are still masked up usually but only about 25% of the customers are. I'm in the 75% of the others.

Went to see a doctor the other day and I wore the mask thinking if there's anywhere that's going to still require it, it will be the doctor's office. Doctor walks in and says "Take that mask off, there isn't any mask mandate anymore..." and then on to a little soapbox about how stupid the whole mask thing is.

Mainly Dallas and Forth Worth, but I traveled over a week and a half to some other places, Waco, etc.

I wasn't talking about mask signs, although they were required in the airport, I was talking about business restrictions on dining, indoors, etc. Maybe no one got the notice, but a few weeks back, it wasn't "open 100%", at least not by my observations and experience.

I feel bad for all those moms that told kids to cover their mouths when sneezing/coughing. What a waste of time.

The first "masker" was dismissed, institutionalized, and eventually beaten to death by the anti-maskers of the day.

The more things change, the more things stay the same.

I'm always astounded by Mesabah's ability to speak with complete authority, of which he has none.

(sorry for the delayed response to this, I was in time out)

Yeah, we don't eat out a lot anyway so I can't say I've seen a lot of dining type businesses. That said, we were at a restaurant a couple weeks ago and that place had people sitting at every seat at every table.

His words were "infectious disease is my thing..."

That's not the reason I was there though so it's obviously not his only thing.
