Do you know why he has to use a wheelchair? At age 26, following as storm, he was running. A tree fell on him and paralyzed him. Much like FDR, he has not let his paralysis be a barrier to his success. He should be congratulated for that.

Sorry about your friend. I hope he/she recovers. Also had a relative spend time in the hospital with pneumonia due to CV. It got real bad, but recovered quickly with steroids.
That said, my man, you are King Troll. No way you end this post with “COVID is real,” after calling us idiots for not masking up. We’ve all been masking up! For a year! And all believe that CV is a real thing.
Brah, many props. You the man. Freal. You almost have to have a really twisted brain to keep this going as well as you do. Much respect to you and your craft.

Your wife has my sympathy and I hope she can find the help she needs. But in all fairness to COVID, you can't spread suicidal depression by breathing on someone. So that's a poor comparison.
I just found out tonight that I have another friend in the hospital with double pneumonia from COVID. This nightmare won't end because you idiots won't mask up.
COVID is real.

I’ve realized that mask wearing shields the “human” aspect of personal interaction. This has got to end, or we will raise a generation of socially/emotionally unaccountable citizens, as if the anonymity of the internet isn’t already bad enough.
Prolonged or permanent mask wear will further divide our communities, as we become more physically anonymous and emotionally unaccountable to our neighbors. Mask wear destroys empathy through the absence of non-verbal communication.

I’m sure y’all are eager to call me a wuss for that but I think there is something to be said for the positive human aspect of masking as well.

Personally for me, it does the opposite. If someone I cross paths on the street who puts their mask on well before we get close or if someone raises their voice an annunciates rather than pulling their mask down and lean in to talk it makes me respect and connect with them much more easily. It shows they are aware of things going on in the world and respect strangers enough to inconvenience themselves or check to make sure the other person is comfortable being close or unmasked before making someone feel unsafe or uncomfortable. You never know someone’s risk, or experience or level of comfort with it so starting at the top feels more “human” to me. I feel a greater connection and ability to work with or interact someone like that rather than someone with an exposed nose, or chin diaper, or pulling it down to talk or cough.
