I just don’t read into the Fauci wants the limelight part. He has been in public service for decades, He popped up once about 30 years ago. He could have earned more in the private sector albeit in a different specialty. The few people I know that have worked with him directly, don’t have anything bad to say about him. I don’t believe, absent evidence that he is part of a plot, or some bumbling idiot. I just don’t think it’s that simple. I think he has become a scapegoat, just like flight attendants, gate agents, pilots or Mx personnel.
He does, apparently, suck at Baseball.

Kary Mullis was a Nobel Prize winning biochemist and the inventor of the PCR test.
This is a interview of Kary Mullis talking around 1990, at the height of the AIDS epidemic.
Listen to the two minutes of the interview. He describes Fauci in detail, his mistrust and disdain for his incompetence. And this was back around 1990.
Mullis was an eccentric, definitely a unique man. He was also a genius.
A lot of people have a lot of bad things to say about Fauci.

Why do you keep saying the bumbling idiot idea and this plot thing?
It is well documented who Dr. Fauci is, and it’s not some innocent 80 year old public servant who just wants what’s best for the people.
summary:
He is a hard charging, intelligent man who believes to his core in what he does. The Fauci name is involved with the support and direction of viral research not just in the USA, but across the globe. He has proven to be Teflon and survives despite the political power of the moment. And he doesn’t take kindly to others who challenge him.
Just one problem, he makes big errors and when challenged people tend to forget quickly about them.
April 2020, Remdesivir big success! https://bgr.com/2020/04/30/coronavir...rd-fauci-says/
Nov 2020, WHO recommends not using remdesivir https://apps.who.int/iris/bitstream/...=1&isAllowed=y
And yet he is not called for his smug recommendation:
”Some have suggested that his comments represent a conflicted double standard; he used his White House platform to praise his agency’s sponsored study (not published nor peer-reviewed), while slamming a peer-reviewed and published Chinese study.”
https://www.healthnewsreview.org/202...desivir-trial/
There’s so much more legitimate and true information out there about the way Fauci does business and dominates things.
No it isn’t and never was about profits, it’s always been about what Fauci believes despite even when his peers disagree. He is a man of power.
The end result is this, don’t trust the man or anything he says.

Fauci and AZT:
No study was ever written, yet Fauci went on camera telling hundreds of thousands of asymptomatic HIV-positive people to take a drug that not only didn’t work, but poisoned its users.
The guy is a chronic deceptive liar.
Fauci and AZT:
The government has announced that 1.4 million healthy, HIV antibody-positive Americans could “benefit” from taking AZT, even though they show no symptoms of disease. New studies have “proven” that AZT is effective in stopping the progression of AIDS in asymptomatic and early ARC cases. Dr. Fauci, the head of NIH, proudly announced that a trial has been going on for “two years” had “clearly shown” that early intervention will keep AIDS at bay. Anyone who has antibodies to HIV and less than 500 T-4 cells should start taking AZT at once, he said. That is approximately 650,000 people. 1.4 million Americans are assumed HIV antibody-positive, and eventually all of them may need to take AZT so they don’t get sick, Fauci contended.
The leading newspapers didn’t seem to think it unusual that there was no existing copy of the study, but rather a breezy two-page press release from the NIH. When SPIN called the NIH asking for a copy of the study, we were told that it was “still being written.”

It took me 5 minutes to find a story on the history and efficacy of AZT and HIV. It was a game changer for those who were dying horrifically. Does it work as well today as it did in 1987? No. The virus mutated. Here you go, sport. Read up. https://www.fda.gov/about-fda/fda-hi...spread-hivaids
But don't think it's some grand scheme. Like vents kill people. Or Trump won the election.
Geeze, how can one person be so consistently wrong?

You are correct. If you want to see where the others are coming from flip on Fox news between 8pm - 10pm...you'll understand. Too bad, Fox used to be a decent center/right outfit with thought provoking people like John Stossel and credible anchors like Shep Smith. Now it's just personal insults, yelling, anti-vax/science and basically whatever Trump wants.
Fauci's history and conflicting issues are well documented by those in his own profession.

Okay. Now I know you're either a troll or a moron. In either case, you're getting your "news" from some whackadoodle sources.
