It’s not an aviation community. It’s a forum about the pandemic. What does advocating what we have been doing and calling out the hoaxers have anything to do with flying a plane. You’re so far off that you don’t realize someone can have a different opinion. Not all pilots are rolling on coal.

First you said - "No, lockdowns were imposed after the surge. Just like any state that had surges. That’s how numbers went down. Are you just trying to sound cool on an internet argument or do you actually care about what you’re saying?"
Then Nantonaku posted a graph showing they went up and said, to you, "They skyrocketed, they didn't go down at all. And they followed the same trajectory of neighboring states without lockdowns."
Then you said "Trajectory. Every state pretty much went up in fall. You should probably look at that chart again. I mean look at the lines, they still did better."
Which of course was another incorrect statement, because the states with lockdowns most certainly did not "do better" and you can see it in black and white if you are able to read a graph.
Which is why, to borrow your own language, no one can take you seriously.

OK - Here is exactly what you said...in this thread...

Now it makes sense. OK, here is why you are confused - this actually IS an aviation community forum. You got lost somehow, There are probably other forums better suited for you with people that hate critical thinking, hate calm rational analysis, and have terrible math skills.
I get that the “community” leans right. And I’m that way too believe me. But in this case I also don’t choose to toe the party line of this being a hoax or not that big of a deal because I think it’s wrong and counter productive and undermines our ability to move on from this and get the country going again. Especially as pilots. I mean some where advocating not even having masks on planes. Good way of making sure nobody actually comes on board for sure! Luckily the country isn’t run by the 5 people here and that’s not the route we chose and I think it’s working out well with the end in sight.

Looking at much of the COVID protocols as so much theater does NOT equal thinking it’s not serious or it’s a hoax. My opinion from the beginning agreed, it’s serious but there’s very little, in the US, we’re going to be able to do to stop the spread—many will die early from or with COVID (depending health status); many will survive and all we can do is hope for the best. Public transmission has been a small percentage of the infections—vast majority in homes or long term care facilities. You don’t get infected on the beach, at a golf course, on a boat with your wife. I took a very fatalistic view, I’ll play the mask game, recognize where I might get infected and avoid those situations, socialize with known friends. That’s all I can do.
A good friend tested positive the day before his first vaccination, He was an active pilot, flew domestic and international, infected from his son who was flying the troops in/out of DC.

Dr. Fauci considers "Spring Break" in Florida as being the main driver for the increase in COVID cases:
https://thehill.com/homenews/sunday-...o-spring-break
He fails to acknowledge the states with the highest *current* COVID cases per capita are also the states with the most stringent lockdowns; New York and New Jersey. He also misses that Texas has one of the lowest COVID case rates, yet is one of the most open states.
This nightmare will not end until Dr. Fauci is exposed for the fraud that he is. I can not understand why anyone with a high school diploma and a need for even the slightest evidence to form opinions trusts him -- he is almost entirely dishonest.

What do you all expect.
There will be no clear signal the “danger” is over. Fauci, Biden, Director of the CDC, Newson, Whitmer, and all the other control freaks are fuming because people won’t obey them.
These people really have no end game or all clear signal. Even if 100% of the people were vaccinated they will still have something to control people over.
Yes it is really all political, and “science” forgets what the truth is, taxes and death. Of course science these days is supported by our money, known as taxes to many. And this administration is handing it out like a pervert offering candy to innocent children.
