That sounds reasonable to me too.

They skyrocketed, they didn't go down at all. And they followed the same trajectory of neighboring states without lockdowns.

How about Texas, how are they doing now that they lifted their mask mandate? Down what, 30%? I thought Texas was going to be an unmitigated disaster after lifting the mandate?

They kept going up and up and up. Eventually, just like in states where (extra) restrictions were not imposed, they went back down. Virus gonna virus.

😂 Trajectory. Every state pretty much went up in fall. You should probably look at that chart again. I mean look at the lines, they still did better. You know the values were basically flat for CA up until the fall compared to those other states, even with all those people. AZ had a pretty tough time all year.

Texas is still higher than CA. How’s Florida doing? How are their infection rates?

First you say cases went down after lockdowns, then someone points out that they actually went up, and then you say of course they went up, and then you make some comment about “all those people” in California, making me think the fact since you don’t get mathematical concepts like rate, how can you possibly be a pilot? Same thing every time. Man you are thick.

Infection rates mean absolutely nothing. Deaths and hospitalizations are down and that is the only metric that matters.

First he lies about the case rates after restrictions were imposed. Then when called out on the lie he deftly switches to the argument that all the cases in the country went up then. Then we point out, exactly all the cases rose while some states were open and others were closed. The closures did nothing. He still argues that the restrictions were the cause of the drop in cases while the trajectory for every state in the country looks pretty much the same. The ignorance would be funny if it weren't true. The fact that he keeps posting contradictory arguments just makes it sad.

Perhaps but a certain segment of the population has been doing nothing but moving goal posts for the last 12 months. It's just what they do, shamelessly.
