COVID has become political and any solution or path must fit one’s political narrative, contradicting data is irrelevant. Reminds me of the talk now after the CO shooting. People call for new laws which would have little or no effect on the problem in the name of saving lives while ignoring much bigger killers in the room. It’s all about pandering to each political base for votes and power, not putting resources to use to actually save more people.

Do you know about 9,000,000 people die of hunger annually. Now there is a preventable cause of death. Think about that everytime you put your leotard on in the morning to go out Mask-Shaming Social-Distance-shaming or whatever you do all day.

For the epically ignorant on here - YES people die and will continue to die of many things. The western way (which is where you live) is to try to eradicate disease / prolong life by way of science and medicine.
If you’re not into this, consider a move to Southwest Asia. On the highways in Kuwait you can drive as fast as you want and there’s basically no rules…freedom! But it’s also Mad Max. Not uncommon to pass by a wreck and see an unattended body. “Why doesn’t anyone stop to help?”, I would ask. The answer was basically god willing that person will live or die…this was the accepted mindset (at least as of 10 years ago).
Arguing about lockdowns, restrictions, etc. is completely reasonable. Total denial….shame on you.

Yea that’s got to be it, they’re down because they lifted mandates. Even with all these people immune or vaccinated. Still though what about Florida, how are their cases looking? What about the infection percentage for Texas and Florida? Still a bit higher than California huh?
