A must read. The Prophets of Smoked Meat.

And a good Texan BBQ enthusiast must register for “BBQ College” a 3 day workshop at A&M.

You know what still works here in TX when it’s 2F and you have no power? The Smoker...

Interesting. Yelp has a lower star rating for Arthur Bryant’s than Jack Stack and jack stack was awful. See all above in the previous posts for good BBQ. I’ll try AB next time in KC.

Ill add Harmon BBQ in Cibilo TX. Stanley’s in Tyler TX.

If this was the case why didn’t he open it last year? Thanks mandates but no thanks? I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of social distancing still.

As far as east coast BBQ goes, I like Pierce’s in Williamsburg, VA.

The whole point of the argument was that Florida didn’t do as bad so restrictions don’t work, even though other lenient states did pretty bad. And California didn’t do as well so restrictions don’t work, even though other restricted states did a whole lot better. If that’s what floats your boat then sure.

NC barbecue is nasty. Chopped until it’s mush, covered in a vinegar & mustard sauce, and glopped on your plate with some slaw. It’s not even in the same ballpark as Kansas City, Memphis, or even better central TX. My vote for the best is either brisket from Snows or the beef ribs at Louie Mueller, then Memphis pork ribs, KC pork ribs, McDonald’s, and then NC.
