Which opinion of Fauci do you want us to listen to?

When he said masks do nothing except make you “feel” safer? Or when now he says we should all at least double or triple mask? I mean... doctors have been wearing masks for decades. If he’s the lead expert on masks, how did he think they didn’t work in 2020 for crying out loud? Infectious diseases have been around for quite awhile. This is nothing new. Asians wore masks for SARS in the early 2000s. Maybe Fauci missed that part of history.

Or how bout when he said it’s not safe to go to school in the beginning but then late last year (after the election) he said there’s no reason kids shouldn’t be in school. Even though the science didn’t change.

Or how bout on March 11 last year on national TV he said Covid is 10 times worse than the flu, but he published an article to his colleagues in the New England journal on March 26th that said it was similar to a severe flu season?

Or per your experts at the CDC... as late as September, Robert Redfield (CDC Director) stated flu kills school aged children 5-10 times more than Covid.

So if we still need to shut down schools for Covid, then what is your argument that we should ever go back to school? Flu is deadlier in children (per the CDC) so if we need to listen to the science it sounds like we need to shut down schools for eternity. Flu will still be around.

you say the science for lockdowns and masks are perfectly clear? How?! States went hardcore on those mandates in the summer and cases skyrocketed. The states with the most relaxed policies have been better statistically almost through the entirety of this thing.

So pick the science you want us to listen to. I mean I’ve shown the “experts” are pretty “consistent” so it should be pretty easy. I have links to all these articles if you need proof it’s not a conspiracy theory. Once you pick the science you want me to listen to, please provide the science on why the other science from the same experts who provided your chosen science is not correct science.

I still rent GA aircraft to fly into Llano to eat at Cooper's. I may have a problem.

I don’t see a problem with anything you wrote there.

Yep, I have seen a dramatic shift in the past two weeks in mask wear in my area. As more and more people get vaccinated you can tell they are done with it. Most businesses have taken down the no mask no service signs that were taped to the door.

The first cruise line with enough cajones to ask passengers to sign a release from harm waiver in order to board a maskless, normal cruise to nowhere will be sold out in a matter of hours.

I didn't cherry pick anything. I chose a state that had restrictions and recently ended them.

I wasn't attempting to make any case that restrictions are bad medically. The case that is being made by the statistics is that restrictions don't do anything medically but they sure destroy businesses and have a negative effect on children who miss out on education and socialization in school.

South Dakota is eighth in the country for deaths per million and there are seven states with worse death rates in the US. Of those seven, six are some of the most highly restricted states in the country. Maybe those forced restrictions aren't so effective after all.

Well at least that guy made some progress with the facts. He got you to say maybe they don’t work, instead of saying they really don’t.
