It’s not about mask efficacy at all. They view the pandemic as an assault on their freedoms. Every argument boils down to them not wanting to be told what to do, not efficacy. Luckily, most people can differentiate between real assaults and mandates during a global pandemic.

Look at the statistics, it's that simple. The curve of everything is flattened and if you notice most cases would never, and I mean never, have been noticed had there not been the hyper-sensitive culture we currently live in.

I also highly support those Governors and leaders who are bringing down the emergency orders and allowing the individual businesses and people act like adults, making decisions for them selves.

And as far as this ignorant statement: "Not sure if you know but the US is not the only country in the world right? Do you know this virus is happening around the world too?" Pretty dumb.

If you want to live in fear, well the bogey man is behind every tree and corner. Life is full of viruses and risks, and living life always checking your six is a really miserable thing. But to each his own.

So get vaccinated and stop worrying, the sun comes up every day and if it doesn't; well you will never know it didn't.

Yep there you go. The boogey man argument. That’s literally what you’re basing all of the above on. Because this pandemic is about avoiding the boogey man. Stick to flying planes I guess.

The only comment which applies here is how closed minded, blinded and fearful your are. I feel sorry for those who have to be locked for hours in the cockpit with you.

You really need to get out more.

Default Mandate, Schmandate!

We all have intellect and should follow what it tells you instead of needing a mandate to think for us. We should stay Situationally Aware and protect ourselves and loved ones accordingly just as if we were in a firefight! The main goal is to survive! That means being appropriately ready for what the situation suggests!

Says the guy who typed “it appears the pandemic is essentially over and the threat of serious illness and death is back in the normal”

Obviously no clue on what constitutes it being over in addition to how a virus works. Also so open minded that he doesn’t want to fly with someone that wants to follow mandates.

I have to give you credit, you sure know how to twist words.

Here is what was written:

That sure is a lot different than what you posted above.

You really have issues, seemingly more than your COVID myopia.

Please relax a little, find a nice coffee shop where you can safely provide social distance from others and enjoy a cup of joe. Those Others will appreciate you for it.

This is peak irony coming from the guy who pulled the internet tough guy card a couple of weeks ago.

It’s like a western, you might be too young to have seen any, sometimes one has to stand up for what’s right and true and at other times one just stands at the bar and enjoys the company.

Maybe you too need a little social distancing and a cup of joe to make us a bit more comfortable.

I think the real irony is my sign on has always been “regularguy” and not some righteous proclamation about the number of dead. Think about that while you enjoy you steamy cup of joe.
