Well, that is indeed whataboutism if you can't admit to some faults in Trump's dealings, methods and ways. My critique of him isn't partisan, it is the reality of who he is and what he has done. If a democrat (and I'm not one btw) acted in the same manner I'd be calling out the same absurdity.
The reality of politics is indeed that no administration is perfect or above reproach. Obama wasn't without his missteps and it's fair be critical of some things but I'll take the likes of such an administration all day long than what we've endured the last for years. The two just can't be compared on an even level or in fact any other administration in modern history.
Some of your points have some validity (James Rosen, the IRS - though they did target left groups as well) but others are false (no evidence Obama spied on Trump, the border separations, Steele Dossier is mixed but did corroborate some actual findings) and others are your opinions.
For the record we can agree on some things such as 'I have a phone and pen' as I'm leery of EO's being used as a de-facto rule by decree no matter who is in office. Obama had 276 in eight years and Trump at 192 was on pace to handily outdo that. Biden has promised to sign multiple EO's his first day while I agree with the intent of some of them it shouldn't be how our government operates IMO. Might be time for a hard look at Executive Orders and/or learn to get along better so the government can once again be for the people in a more meaningful way.

So what was their goal in not taking any action? It's pretty obvious that politically they would backtrack, and deny given what happened.(and not the actual virus, the absolute bat**** insane response the left went on over Swedens plan) However, going from 3 deaths a day, to 10 deaths, then back to 3 a day in two weeks, is not what I would call alarming.

You see, citizens won’t actually stop going to bars or wear masks or not have get togethers unless you force them. It’s just human nature. If they told you Crack makes you feel really good but will kill you, people will still do it if it’s there in-front of them. You have to take away their ability to, for the greater good.

Its a good thing Pfizer announced yesterday they have a vaccine. They reported 95% effective in a 43,000 person study. They plan to distribute 50 million vaccines before the end of 2020.

Their intention was to trust their own people to do the right thing rather than force it on them like every other nation. It wasn’t about herd immunity. They allowed many more of their citizens to die compared to their Nordic neighbors, for nothing. They’re back to mandates now. C.S.Lewis:
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
Daniel Webster:
Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.

Let's start with just the last few weeks where a sitting president won't accept the results of an election that looks to be 'landslide' according to his definition 4 years ago. He has falsely claimed he won the election, fired the head of CISA for spite, has essentially abdicated his role and is golfing/tweeting only (to be fair that's not much of a change), without evidence numerous times claimed massive fraud to sew the seeds of discontent, hasn't attended a COVID task force meeting in months, etc, etc, etc.
And I won't miss things like this...
“We won’t let a RIGGED ELECTION steal our Country!” and “how badly shattered and violated our great Constitution has been in the 2020 Election. It was attacked, perhaps like never before!”
Compound that by four years and I think America has a legit complaint or three thousand.
