The last couple hundred years of Western science and general progress is built upon peer-reviewed scientific study. Admittedly, the system isn’t perfect and s#!t still slips through, but if you’re going to make an outlandish claim like “peer review doesn’t matter”, you better have a way to back that up.

I don’t think you know what peer review is. Peer review does not test hypothesis, or rerun experiments or studies. It does not see if the results can be duplicated. Peer review does not even verify that the data being used is correct.

It looks like you took a part from a another place in the speech and inserted it after to make it look like it was one statement.
