It just makes me sick that so much of this could have been prevented had it not been politicized. No doubt COVID was going to be an issue no matter what, but the anti-mask conspiracy crowd are directly responsible for deaths and economic damage. That we actually have pilots that fall into this denier group is embarrassing and infuriating.

Yes, I’m also curious what the APC Alt-Right COVID deniers have to say about this as well. As predicted by anyone paying attention, this is now getting very ugly. Airline stocks are getting destroyed again, and I would be really surprised if pax numbers didn’t start collapsing again as well.

The data it gathers is from polling. If anything 2016 and 2020 has taught us, it's that polls are often way off the mark. I would not trust a chart based on user-reported info.
In any case, his point stands. Only here has masking been a politically controversial issue.

My uncle and I, both got the virus in February from tainted food, after that, we implemented the Singapore model for the rest of the family, and no one else has gotten sick. No need for masks, we have been going about life as normal, just had a birthday party with everyone two weeks ago.

If you ever want to know the exact wrong thing to do in the pandemic, just read Mesabah. He is Dunning-Kruger personified, and he will deliver conspiracy theories and falsehoods with 100% confidence. He's been wrong on nearly every issue since this pandemic started. Who knows, maybe all the Hydroxychloroquine he took in April melted his brain.
