There are a lot of bright shiny objects being flashed in here to distract from the fact that the buck stops with POTUS.
Whatever your opinion on Fauci, Adam's, Nancy, Yogi Bear, or whoever else you might want to bring up as a distraction, SIX MONTHS after everybody pivoted to the consensus that masks are an import tool in the fight against COVID-19, POTUS still refuses to do so, and has/is actively discrediting the public health effort, all for selfish political reasons.
SIX MONTHS after whatever rough start we had, people in his OWN administration are starting to push back on his false assertions. His OWN CDC Director has just emphatically acknowledged the importance of masks. His OWN Asst Secretary of Health has just conceded that Corona cases are on the increase. And even Russia (though not a part of his administration - allegedly lol) on Tuesday instituted nation wide mask mandates. I dare anyone to refute those 3 events.

Jeeze ... let’s cut the big Chief Cheeto some slack.
He said it was a hoax.
Over by Easter.
Everything back to normal by April.
Its just going to go away.
All my Cheeto loving friends say it will disappear on November 4th.
If he said it then it must be true. He is the BEST EVER.

You still haven’t answered, was Fauci aware of the “long standing protocol” (your words) when he told people not to wear masks, and therefore knowingly misled the public? Or did he find out later and then pivot to this new information?

How can anyone reasonably accuse Pelosi or Biden of politicizing the virus when Trump explicitly said the virus is a hoax, that the virus was going to disappear, has encouraged defiance against public health measures based on scientists' recommendations, and told people not to wear masks long after the CDC and Fauci changed their tune?
The mental gymnastics and contortions you all go through to defend POTUS despite the overwhelming and unending incompetence, not to mention all the corruption and grift, is a sight to behold.

I can post a metric sh*^ ton of videos of him telling people to wear them but you can't post the other one.
There are videos of him explaining why he doesn't wear them in keeping with his view of the office he holds and many people don't fault him for that. President Reagan had such reverence for the oval office he refused to even remove his suit coat in it.
