did he get on board before or after Nancy got on board?

Was he on board before or after his "un-American" and "xenophobic" ban of flights from China?

The buck stops with POTUS.
They pivoted or they intentionally misled? When they said masks don’t work, where they unaware of the “long established protocol” and when made aware “pivoted”? Or were they always aware and intentionally misled the American public in order to “manage the situation”?

How do you know Fauci’s, or anyone else’s, motives? Are you a mind reader?

It isn't that cut and dried.

There is plenty of reason to be wary of widespread mask wear. People take risks when wearing masks that they wouldn't take otherwise, there is a false sense of security. Most dangerous though is the lack of knowledge among the general population on how to wear them. Masks must be clean and never reused, most people reuse theirs forever just have a look at how many of them hang off rear view mirrors. You must never touch your mask once you are wearing it, if you do, you have to throw it out or wash it, then clean your hands thoroughly and then put on a new mask. Do you do that? Doctors change masks often throughout the day to maintain cleanliness. How many times do you change your mask every day? Be honest, one mask for the whole day, right?

Put on your mask and take a nice deep breath. All that nice cool air coming in around the top, bottom, and sides brings in contaminants. Those contaminates get stuck in the mask fibers and you breathe them in over time. The "science" is that not having a mask will help you to expel those contaminates and keep them from collecting on your face and making their way into your body. You also trap bacteria from your exhalations that would normally be harmlessly passed into the atmosphere. That bacteria being trapped is responsible for an increase in cold sores, mouth ulcers, and acne. Mask wear should be only for the time necessary to be in a crowd or in close contact with a stranger when you cannot distance. Mask wear all day, everywhere, is actually dangerous. I suspect that may be what was found in the Danish study but they will not release the information until they publish.

They never said masks didn't work. If you were not healthy, or had a preexisting condition, you were still strongly advised to wear a mask. That never changed.

Go read my post again about their initial position. I said "word on the street" .. Hardly equates to mind reading. lol

Nancy is 3rd in line to the POTUS. Nancy very well could've been POTUS if this thing really was bad. She was DIRECTLY AND PURPOSELY going against what POTUS said, as did our next possible POTUS, Biden.

So either: Nancy got the same briefings as the POTUS and decided his decision was wrong, or: didn't get the briefings and irresponsibly decided to politicize the virus without actual data from experts.......

Which is worse? Does it matter? Both seem pretty unforgivable, no?

Nancy pivoted because she saw that it would be a political suicide to not

Yeah, no. Either it is acceptable to lie or it isn't. Fauci clearly lied in the beginning, the explanation being to prevent panic and shortage of supplies. Somehow that is acceptable. But Trump doing the exact same thing is not. However, Trump was to correct to not incite panic, because there was no reason to do so.

How can anyone reasonably accuse Pelosi or Biden of politicizing the virus when Trump explicitly said the virus is a hoax, that the virus was going to disappear, has encouraged defiance against public health measures based on scientists' recommendations, and told people not to wear masks long after the CDC and Fauci changed their tune?

The mental gymnastics and contortions you all go through to defend POTUS despite the overwhelming and unending incompetence, not to mention all the corruption and grift, is a sight to behold.

He didn't "explicitly" say that at all. Keep reading headlines and not actual articles.

At the end of the day I'm sure there are things trump could've done better. That said, I guarantee his path to "better" would've been easier had the dems gone along with his plan from the get-go.

There's a CNN article too calling the dems statements "misleading" regarding Trump calling covid a hoax.....Lemme know if you want that one.

But she's not POTUS. I'm talking about the decisions of the person responsible for piloting us through this mess.

And if Nancy could read the tea leaves, why didn't POTUS?
