Hey man, I’m just going off what you said:
If you are upset about someone on here asking about it, I’m not sure why you brought it up in the first place?
Also, just because I am an American that lives in Asia doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion on how badly the US has been and continues to screw this whole situation up. I still go to the US a lot, and the fact that I get to see (in person) how different countries have responded to this certainly shouldn’t invalidate my opinion. Further, I care very much for my friends and family in the US and have a vested interest in the social and economic outcome of the US.

Living outside the US leaves you with media and internet. Both sources likely skewed by the providers.
If you travel to the US the population centers supporting international connections also likely have a skewed and localized reality.
And if its to any of the population centers in the handful of criminally negligent run cities and states accounting for a substantial number of the reported deaths.....you would probably believe the world is coming to an end.
The entire US hasnt 'badly screwed this up'.
But handful of incompetent and negligent state and local political leaders have done an incredibly incompetent job.

My wife teaches 6th and 7th grade science. One of the primary curricula in her 6th grade class is the scientific method. Sounds like you could use some 6th grade science education.

I do however realize your childish attempt at a rejoinder is cathartic when you have no argument.

Its likely you have a less than accurate understanding of the reality.

I basically get to live two realities. I’m from the US and grew up there, I have friends in family in the US, I travel to the US, and I also get to experience what it’s like living in another country that has had a different response to the pandemic (which never included a lockdown). I also have family in Western Europe, so I get to hear that perspective as well.
Not sure how you can argue my different and more experienced perspective is less pertinent than what you experience living in North Texas?

Oh, well I can definitely turn that around on you too.
