Yes. I don’t know why this is so hard for you to understand.

I just don’t understand it because you continue to claim this without actually showing any data for it.

Lots of people these days are claiming all kinds of crazy stuff based on things like hearsay, blogs, social media posts, etc. I’m only asking since you keep making posts about living somewhere with apparently no COVID prevention strategies, yet haven’t had any fallout from it.

The data is the primary school where my wife works has had 0 cases between students and staff. The elementary school where my two sons go has had a couple cases. The middle school had the biggest outbreak at the beginning with 20 something cases, and I think the high school was similar. This isn’t hearsay, I have been living it for the past 3 months. And I never said there is no COVID prevention. The schools have done a great job keeping things safe and clean, and when someone does get it they have managed keeping it spreading like wildfire. I find it funny that someone living on the other side of the planet is trying to tell me I’m wrong when I have been living this reality day in and day out.

Hey man, I’m just going off what you said:

Where I live, kids have been back in school for 10 weeks with no surge in cases. The school where my wife works still has 0 students and 0 staff get infected. All youth sports have been going on for 3 months now with no surge in cases. We’ve had Octoberfest and homecoming with no surge in cases. Restaurants are open and staff and patrons have stopped wearing masks with no surge in cases. Churches have been open with no surge in cases. Why can’t everyone else get their **** together?
If you are upset about someone on here asking about it, I’m not sure why you brought it up in the first place?

Also, just because I am an American that lives in Asia doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion on how badly the US has been and continues to screw this whole situation up. I still go to the US a lot, and the fact that I get to see (in person) how different countries have responded to this certainly shouldn’t invalidate my opinion. Further, I care very much for my friends and family in the US and have a vested interest in the social and economic outcome of the US.

DFW area runs a "regional dashboard" for COVID. Deaths thankfully are flat. Cases are on the rise.

If you go to City of Dallas Hospital Capacity, you will see the ICU beds in use.

again, deaths thankfully have not risen. We know more today about management and therapeutics than we did in March. We only have 25 different task forces and focus groups on the virus. I would hope deaths do not rise. The DFW region has well known leading medical/hospital facilities, if deaths rise there I can only imagine death rates in rural West Virginia or Kentucky.

That takes real cajones given how the scientists have reversed on their own words, let alone have debated amongst themselves, and the politicians that use the word science as a cudgel dont even fillow their own damn dictates.
