Germany and France are the heavy hitters and both enjoy being part of a big empire (UK was the other heavy). The rest are junior partners who would have to be seriously butt hurt to give up the financial security blanket.
I suspect Germany is the only one remotely likely to bail, and that's not because they don't like big government (they do) it's because it must be tiresome to be on the hook every time some med state's socialist system needs a bailout.

As explained to me by a European friend, the eastern states are more in development mode... hypothetically a worthy investment with an ROI down the road. Some other states are just settled into comfortable deficit spending on social programs with the rest of the EU to backstop that indefinitely. So I was told.

I really don't see any country following UK's steps in the near future honestly.

I know in Poland, there is, and has been, lots of infrastructure built with EU money-roads, airports, transit investment that should have EU sized ROI. What’s Belgium’s or Luxembourg’s excuse?

Not because of agreeing or disagreeing. Due to the many very irrational and inflammatory statements you make that are way beyond the norm, even for the APC forums. And that is saying a lot. Seems your fuse is lit once again and your responses will be way out of proportion as is the norm for you.
